Okay, Haluansiswa just finished. Haluansiswa is just basically orientation with a cool name.

I can't complain really. UM has been nice to me so far. The orientation here lasts longer but it's easier than UiTM's. There are a few things I miss about that place. Like the carpet in the library, we don't have that here although UM has the most complete law reference library in Malaysia. Just buy some carpeting please?

Oh! For the first time since I don't know how many years, I joined Malay debate! and guess what? I joined.. and won! can I put more exclamation marks please? !!!!! hahaha. I wasn't a big deal at the beginning but we actually beat seniors from the Orator Club and national debaters. The trophy is real steel I think. I guess the era of plastic recognition is over? Oh yeah B) It was hard work. No doubt. Here's a picture of Sylvia sleeping from all of the hard work.

What I'm really looking forward to in UM is (hopefully) breaking my almost curse. As some of you know, I'm prone to be denied of greatness. haha. Never won first place in my life or be outstanding in stuff I get into, be it stupid or not. That's the almost curse. Having a hard time shining. Laziness, luck, and greed I think all played their part. I hope the debate is some indication of things to come.

From freshies to first years. tortured first years. I hear the faculty orientation is gonna be hell. Pray for me as in my English placement test went a bit like this...
