Qayyum, I know you open your blog in random places in random times. So this is a reminder to blog about Kenanga, your friends, Cempaka, her, shah alam, Roti Nan Cheese, Cendol Pak Akob, and practically everything that's interesting that went down during your time as a student in UiTM's Law foundation, which is now over.
Reminder again, Lexicorn~
Found it!
I have found an unexpected push to continue with things once I almost gave up on.
For so long I've waited for certain people to change and now I realise, the attitude that needs changing is mine :)
Push Qayyum, Push! If you want something go get it! Don't hang on to the uncertainty of waiting for other people to give it to you. They might not.
A hall so cold, a paper so hot.
Ever been in an exam hall with your hands all shaky until you really have to control your pen or it'll look like a seismograph result? No, I'm not talking about nervousness. It was just the plain freezing atmosphere of an exam hall.
Okay, today was my first final Asasi examination paper. MTC039, also dreadfully know as Introduction to Social Psychology to most of my course mates.
Don't get me wrong, I love the class, even after the confrontation with the lecturer because I expressed my views a bit too excessively. (When have I not, really?) But I can't figure out what we were studying exactly in the classes, there's much backwash discussion and much of the tutorials are spent on our role play. It makes for an interesting class, but I'm not sure what to answer in exams.
So that's exactly what happened.
I slept at the Bilik Bacaan at around 4 or 5, not because I studied or anything, it's insomnia. Which is weird really. I was tired but my eyelids won't meet. I was woken up three times by three different people then finally decided to stand up when Jubili went all "Qay! It's 7:30!" Yep. We were supposed to be at the exam hall at 8. Luckily, I'm a guy.
I dressed pretty nicely, but not as nice as Que who wore a suit. I'm like. whoah. Well at least I tucked in.
So I arrived at the exam hall around 8:15. And here's the view from where I was sitting and waiting:
Yes, directly depan pintu, penyambut tetamu style.
Well some of the guys are being all "SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY IS THE STUDY OF BLAH BLAH BLAH" outside.. They didn't sleep the whole night and still need to revise loudly outside. I was getting worried for myself.
If you could be a star athlete in any sport, which sport would you pick?
Wrestling for sure. I have it all planned out, right down to my entrance theme :D
A little reminder~
- Stationery! I left one of my pen caps off on the flight back to KK. So yes, it kinda burst and ruined all my other pens! I forgot the basic principles of differential air pressure
- Better get some kuih cincin for the guys. Get more this time. When I got back last semester, They were going all "Eh penghulu! kuih cincin ade lagi tak?" which is usually followed by a response of "ngko yang amek last, nak pure2 sopan lagi tanye.."
- STUDY! No more excuse of "I don't know the schedule! I can't study under these ambigous conditions" or "OMG Dilbert is back on TV!"
- Download music to accompany me during the exam week.Very important. I can't just go on being under pressure without good music. Which reminds me, I gotta lay off Bieber for now man. Make way for Chopin! or at least Oasis.
- Eat! Fatten up! The first thing EVERYONE said was that I've lost a lot of weight! (really, everyone. My grandma, my uncles, my cousins, aunts, my parents especially. If my cat could talk, he'd say the same.) the only person who said "Eh Qay, naik sudah badan.." was Faiz. and he's been in Johor since a year ago perhaps? Ah well, Tonight is gulai ketam night anyway.
- Exploit the TV. I miss TV!! Nothing like a good midnight channel-flippin' with nescafe (+ extra sugar) and some cookies for dipping... exploitation status: so far, so good.
- Find a freakin' monkey! -.-"
